Danny Arcane’s “She Said” Is The Perfect Fall Slow Jam
Samantha Colleran, September 2022
Danny Arcane is a singer songwriter raised in both the UK and the US, which of course means that he’s had exposure to all sorts of incredible music. Drawing inspiration from the British indie rock scene as well as the grunge scene in America, Danny has created his own sound that has captivated listeners and even scored him a feature on the BBC Music Introducing, a radio show that highlights up and coming UK artists.
Danny’s love of music goes back to when he was younger. His father, uncles, and cousins played instruments. Following his curiosity of how songs are recorded, Danny pursued a degree in Audio Engineering. Spending time curating the sound Danny felt most proud of, he finally took the step of putting his music out into the world, and today I’m super excited to share his newest release, “She Said”!
“She Said” was inspired by Danny’s wife. He played it cool when he was around her, but inside he felt that it was love at first sight. “She Said” is inspired by the situation; two people trying to play it cool until they finally admit to one another they’re in love. The intro emulates a Mac DeMarco sound with a smooth guitar and a steady drum beat. Danny paints a perfect picture of our scenario with a calm vocal delivery and incredibly descriptive lyrics. “Saw you in a crowded room/ Yeah, you caught my eye/ You were out of my league, but I thought I would try” the song begins, and as we get deeper into the song we see the sweet love unfold as the two confess their feelings for each other. It’s a super sweet listen, and one you’ll definitely be adding to your chill fall playlist.
“She Said” will be available to stream on September 30, but until then you can pre save the single here! Follow Danny on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok to celebrate the release of “She Said” and stay up to date on his future releases!
