Frawley first knew she wanted to be a singer right before going to kindergarten. She began singing the summer before she went to school and knew instantly that music was what she wanted to pursue in life. Some of her biggest inspirations are the powerhouses; Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, just to name a few. Watching female artists stand on stage and captivate an audience with their vocals was mesmerizing to a very young Frawley.

Frawley would describe her sound as heartbreak pop. If you’re a first time Frawley listener, the singer recommends listening to her tracks “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry” and “No One Can Fix Me” if you want to get a better understanding of what heartbreak pop is as well as some of her personal life experiences. Storytelling is an important part of Frawley’s music. When listening to other artists, she tends to gravitate towards the storytellers who make her feel as if she is going through or experiencing what they are singing about. “I feel like I go through a lot, feel a lot of emotions and have so much to say, so it only makes sense I share it exactly how it is,” Frawley shares about making her own music.

One of her most recent releases, a track called “Crying My Eyes Out”, is no exception to the vivid storytelling. Vulnerability in songwriting is second nature to Frawley, she wears her heart on her sleeve and finds being vulnerable in songwriting healing; it’s an added bonus that other people relate to her songs. On “Crying My Eyes Out” you can feel every emotion she’s feeling. To get over a guy she had been stuck on for a while, Frawley decided to have a girls night out. She dressed up and felt confident with her group of friends, until she saw the guy out with another girl. Feeling like she was living a movie scene as her heart fell to the floor seeing this guy move on so easily, Frawley was inspired to write about the experience, “As bad as it hurt, it made for a really good story to write about later in a song”.

Taking on that movie-like feeling, Frawley paints a clear picture of what she was feeling that night. “And you’re falling slow / And I’m watching it all from the front row” she sings in the chorus. Speaking about the lyrics, Frawley said she felt as if time had stopped and they were the only two people in the world. She watched from the sidelines as he fell for a new girl and forgot about Frawley. Another standout lyric, and a personal favorite of Frawley’s, “Wish that love was actually blind, it turns out that the best night of her life is the worst of mine”, allows listeners to feel the pain of Frawley losing the guy she’s still in love with in front of her. While the other girl is having a great night being swept off her feet, Frawley is left with makeup streaking her face and a broken heart.

A talented vocalist and a singer who can make anyone feel her emotions, Frawley is an artist you’ll want to keep your eye on. To keep up with all of her releases, you can follow her on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
