Knightlight’s Newest Single “Last Fall” Featuring T Barmuda Is The Perfect Beginning Of Fall Song
Samantha Colleran, September 2020
Knightlight is a U.S. based artist who was always interested in making music and releasing a song; once he made one song, he wanted to turn music into a career. He released his first song titled “Lost” back in November 2018, and made another release in July 2019 titled “Breathe”. Now, Knightlight is back in 2020 with a new track called “Last Fall” featuring T Barmuda, released near the end of July. The single was written, produced, co-mastered, and mixed by Knightlight himself.
“Last Fall” is a pop funk inspired track, with trap-like beats backing the catchy lyrics. The lyrics follow our narrator losing a love and expressing his thoughts about the relationship ending (“Just yesterday we were lovers, now we don’t think ‘bout each other”). The vocals are smooth and almost effortless, and the background beats will have you nodding your head along throughout the 3 minutes and 20 seconds you spend listening along. It’s the perfect transition song for the summer to fall season; the sound has a complete summer vibe, while the lyrics are a bit sadder and fit the fall season perfectly, especially since T Barmuda sings about losing a love last fall.
