If you’re looking for a new pop album then stop your search and start listening to Lemon Lord’s debut album Be Blonde! Released in November of last year, Be Blonde is an eight track album that will have you dancing around your room pretending like you’re out in a club. Lemon Lord wrote the lyrics and arranged all of the music on all eight tracks. With roots in classical music, and drawing inspirations from some of the greats including Prince, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and the Spice Girls, you’ll find it near impossible to stop listening to the beauty of Be Blonde

Lemon Lord

Tracks 1 and 2 titled “Paint My Face” and “Queen”, respectively, serve as girl power anthems that encourage listeners to live their life how they want and be confident in doing so. You can feel the Gaga influences in a number of tracks, “Chapel” is a standout track that gave me total Gaga vibes with its spoken intro. The overall sound of the album is fresh and new, yet feels so familiar at the same time. If Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia and Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster were blended together, the result would be Lemon Lord’s debut album. Lemon Lord is a hidden pop gem, and an artist you definitely need to add into your rotation of music.

You can listen to Be Blonde on Apple Music or Spotify, or any other streaming service you choose to use! Let me know your favorite track in the comments if you give the album a listen! You can listen to the lead track “Paint My Face” below.
