Noah Richardson Sings About Flirty Feelings On “BABYTALK”
Samantha Colleran, May 2022
Noah Richardson is an alternative pop artist from Philadelphia who has gained a lot of attention and success despite only having a few singles released, including his popular debut “lowercase letters”. With recognition from NBC’s The Voice, Blake McLain’s YouTube series “The Producer”, influencers like Summer McKeen and Liv Cowherd, as well as many radio stations across the US and Canada, Noah is someone you’ll want to keep on your musical radar. His newest single, “BABYTALK”, is a lot more groovy than his previous releases, and one you’ll definitely want to listen to now before it gets too famous.
Written about the flirtatious feelings you can experience with the right person. The way you talk to them, how your body language shifts around them, and the overall feelings of desire, lust and love are all discussed on “BABYTALK”. “It can become intoxicating with the right person, and that’s kind of where this story sits. Someone really takes a hold of you like no one else has and you are overwhelmed with feeling,” Noah said about the song.
As a person in the creative world, ideas can come to you at the strangest of times. Talking about how the song came to fruition, Noah said a classic Irish goodbye led to the creation of the track. “So I got into this pretty weird habit of going out to the bar with friends, then randomly disappearing to go home and write something like some sort of Bob Dylan Batman. Kind of funny but inspiration does not wear a watch.” Wanting to emulate the same feeling of someone you’re infatuated with taking over your thoughts, Noah incorporated the “goo-goo” and “ga-ga” sounds in the chorus that will quickly get stuck in your head the more you listen. Throwing those vocals over a catchy dance groove complete with a cowbell and infectious bassline led to the final product of “BABYTALK”, and it’s a track you don’t want to let slip under the radar.
“BABYTALK” is available to stream on Apple Music, Spotify, and any other streaming service you may use! To keep up to date on Noah’s future music releases, make sure to follow him on Instagram, and as always let me know your thoughts in the comments on the track!
