It’s the year of Soleil! Following the successful release of her track “Whose Side?”, Soleil has teamed up with producer VKZ to bring us a new song titled “On The Low”. Emulating a 90s/ early 2000s R&B feel, you’ll be swept up in Soleil’s smooth vocals and the incredibly chilled backing beat.

The lyrics have a number of different meanings. When writing the song, Soleil had a number of ideas she wanted to convey with the lyrics. It’s about a booty call (ooh!), but it goes much deeper than that. It talks about the female perspective, and how Soleil owns the situation and allows it to empower her. It also talks about the relationship as a whole, how the two involved in the relationship keep things “on the low” and don’t let anyone else in on their little rendezvous. You’ll find yourself nodding along as you listen, the beat growing catchier and catchier as Soleil’s vocals fill your ears.

You can listen to the track on Apple Music or Spotify, as well as linked below! Let me know your thoughts in the comments as always, and be sure to follow Soleil on Instagram and Twitter to stay up to date on her future releases!
