I wrote about Kiera Dillon’s incredibly successful single “Won’t Make It Easy” a couple of months ago, and now she’s back with a stripped down version of her most recent release, “Undercomplicate”! Kiera teamed up with college friend Felium to work on the original version of the track which was released under the record company Blanco y Negro Music. The two have also been working on a start up company that has been really successful since its creation! The duo have paired up once again to rework “Undercomplicate”, and it’s all sorts of amazing!

The original version has a funky, fun backing beat that accompanies Kiera’s vocals perfectly. It has a chilled out vibe, but the acoustic version puts a brand new spin on the track! It’s a lot softer and really gives Kiera’s vocals the ability to stand out against the softer guitar instrumental. It’s full of rich harmonies that will give you chills as you listen. The lyrics talk about wanting to let go of worries and fears about how a relationship is going and learning to go with the flow, to keep things “under complicated”. “No more taking it slow/ I’m done waiting, let’s go/ Where you leave, I’ll follow”, Kiera sings passionately in the pre chorus. It’s a perfect Sunday vibe, I can guarantee you’ll have it on repeat; I know I couldn’t stop listening to it when I first heard this new version!

If you want to hear the differences between the original and the acoustic track, you can click here to listen to the original! You can listen to the acoustic version below, and as always be sure to stream it on Apple Music or Spotify if you like what you hear! Let me know your thoughts in the comments and congrats to Kiera and Felium on another awesome release!
