Noon A.M. is a two man band from Winchester, UK, and their newest single “Firing Line” is one you’ll definitely need to listen to! Band members Ben and Max have been friends for years and work together to self produce and create their own music at home. Ben recently graduated from Durham University, and Max is a law graduate from Cardiff. Their debut single titled “Somebody” generated over 6,000 Spotify streams and they’ve had their music played on BBC Introducing

“Firing Line”, the band’s new single, talks about all the different feelings you can experience in the aftermath of a failed relationship. The song was completed over a four month period and has a blend of guitar riffs and catchy bass lines topped off with harmonies that will be stuck in your head for days. Using metaphors of warfare (“I’m stood in a foreign land/ Losing sense of time/ It could be day or night”, “I’m on the ground/ In no man’s land/ Keep my head down”), the band explores the internal feelings you may have after going through such a difficult situation. “Firing Line” has a nostalgic 80s feel with a modern twist. To me, it feels very much like Catfish and the Bottlemen, and I’m obsessed with both their sound and Noon A.M.’s.
