Introducing Marivilla, a newer artist who you definitely need to keep on your radar. Marivilla has always written lyrics, but wrote her first complete song last year and hasn’t been able to stop. Drawing inspirations from Taylor Swift, Hozier, and Freya Ridings, Marivilla has developed her own unique sound. The result? Her most recent single release titled “Honey”!

“Honey” takes elements from songs such as “Paper Kites” by Bloom, “Willow” by Taylor Swift, and one of my personal favorite Hozier songs off of his debut album, “Someone New”. It’s a soft, acoustic love song with really gorgeous and heartfelt lyrics. “I’ll remember every word you’ve ever said” and “Baby I see you in the constellations” are just a couple of the standout lyrics on this track. It’s such a great song to listen to as you enjoy your Sunday, and hopefully as warmer weather approaches this song will make for a great soundtrack to sunny afternoons enjoying the sunshine!

You can listen to “Honey” below. Be sure to stream the track on Apple Music or Spotify, and follow Marivilla on Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok to stay up to date on future releases!
